Our Take

College of Alameda would be the obvious choice for East Bay residents who work days: evening classes, an on-airport hangar, low cost and a 92.5% pass rate. But in March 2026 the college said it is not accepting applications for the next two years because of overwhelming demand. Until it reopens, compare Gavilan, Solano, Sacramento City College or AIM Fremont.
